Boating Safety Tips for the Holiday!

Have a happy and safe Labor Day! Boating is a fun way to spend the day, but be sure you follow these safety tips from the National Safety Council:

• Review a pre-departure checklist to ensure you have everything you need in your boat, including a toolbox and first-aid kit.
• Always have enough life jackets for everyone onboard and make sure everyone wears their life jacket!
• If you notice storm clouds or wind speed increasing, play it safe and get off the water.
• Don’t drink alcohol if you are driving!
