Today is Patriot’s Day, observed in honor and remembrance of those who died in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York City and the Pentagon. A nice way to commemorate Patriot’s Day would be to show appreciation to our local first responders. They put their lives on the line for us every day.
